43LAC, 4LAB NEOPHYTES: "STARTTHEM RIGHT, THEY WILL END WELL"

The most precious commodity in the armed forces are the soldiers. We train and equip them with necessary knowledge and skills to be an effective workforce. The 43rd Light Armor Company upheld this by conducting orientation training to newly assigned privates who, aside from being the lowest mammal of the unit, will assume as Armored Vehicle radio operator or gunner.

The 9-day training at headquarters, 43LAC consisted of essential knowledge on the day-to-day operations of the company, critical skills on gunnery and communication operations, basic preventive maintenance, unit tactical SOP’s on pre, during and post operations and not the least, personnel discipline.

During the closing ceremony, all NCO’s delivered a motivational speech based on their respective experiences in the service. This part served as the crucial point of the training when the young privates see their seniors as role models to emulate.

“Start them right, they will end well!”. We hope we laid the right foundation for these neophytes who are the future of the ARMY.
