MASIGASIG PEDAL THEIR BIKES FOR HOPE 2010

           

           The Masigasig troopers led by Lt. Col. Rufino G. Ramoran Jr., and some 600 biking enthusiasts from the provinces of Quezon, Batangas and Mindoro and some military personnel from the Southern Luzon Command and Lucena PNP personnel  enjoined in the declaration of unity for the holding of a peaceful and honest election on May 10.

           “It was tiring but it gives the Masigasig bikers the courage to join in order  to manifest our  duty as responsible citizens for the holding of clean and peaceful election,” said Col. Ramoran.

              The Masigasig bikers joined the 45-kilometer bicycle tour dubbed as “Unity Fun Ride for Honest, Orderly, and Peaceful Elections” held last April 11, 2010.

           The Southern Luzon Command based in Camp Nakar, the Quezon Police Provincial Office  and the Commission on Election sponsored the activity as part of their public campaign for the holding of a peaceful political exercise.

              The bike fest was participated by the Masigasig bikers  with the objective of  contributing to government the effort to reach out the citizenry in their common goal for the acquisition of a peaceful, orderly, and credible election.

The race ended at SOLCOM headquarters and was capped with the awarding of prizes and plaque of recognitions.
